AdSense privacy disclosure checklist.
Review privacy disclosures commonly required for publishers using Google advertising products and third-party ad vendors.
Google advertising disclosures
- Explain that third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits.
- Explain how visitors can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through appropriate Google controls.
- Identify or link to relevant third-party vendors and ad networks where required.
- Describe Analytics, advertising measurement and consent technologies actually used on the site.
- Provide contact information and an effective or updated date.
Consent implementation
For personalized ads served to users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google requires an applicable Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Verify runtime behavior rather than relying only on the presence of banner code.
US state privacy
Review restricted data processing, opt-out signals and state-specific notices for the regions where the site operates. Do not copy disclosures for tools the site does not actually use.
